Their story began in Los Angeles, but both families have roots in Odesa. Many years ago, Leo’s parents were photographed in one of the city’s historic courtyards, the very same place where we would later create Leo and Julia’s wedding.
Over three days, 60 guests arriving from across the USA discovered Odesa through its history, atmosphere and traditions. A private beach, Jewish wedding rituals, a video installation and a musical theatre performance woven into the wedding dinner programme became part of a celebration that brought together the families’ heritage and contemporary aesthetics.
